Power Suit

The location is the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Theatre, where our opera performances are taking place.
There’s no denying the return of the suit! I don’t think any self-respecting Blake Lively fan hasn’t at least contemplated dipping into the suit trend of late. Long gone are stuffy, one-note, #basic suits; the options today are vibrant, fresh, and varied. I’ve had my eye on a few to date, but it was the relaxed feel of this yellow set that had me finally pulling the suit trigger. The color makes a statement yet is surprisingly versatile—I already owned everything else in this look and the yellow somehow just works with everything. The fit is slightly oversized, and therefore super comfortable. Best of all, there’s just something about a suit that makes you feel badass and powerful. 🙌🏼
