This look is all about transitioning into Spring when it's not quite legitimately warm out yet (or again). Think pants or maxi skirts which aren't necessarily lighter weight than you'd wear in the colder months (like these wide-legged beauties) but with Spring-y florals, stripes, or gingham. This sweater, too, while being off-the-shoulder, isn't without warmth and substance; also perfect for cooler Summer nights. Plus, I for one cannot get enough of tiered sleeves.

Oh, and confession: When Kevin and I shot this look, it was freeeeezing outside. Like sub-zero. My blog post "theme" was a nice enough idea but Mother Nature sure stuck it to me.
