Shorts have been a longtime struggle for me. I often find that the "in" styles tend to be too short for comfort, but that when they're longer, they too easily resemble "mom" shorts. These are a recent purchase and were an exciting find for me; they're long enough for my quads while being fresh and updated enough for my aesthetic. As bonuses, the cinched waist is flattering and the color/material is insanely versatile.

I always get a little kick out of finding new—and sometimes better—ways to wear and layer existing pieces in my wardrobe. This Forever 21 shirtdress (which I previously wore as a dress) is actually way more wearable as a vest. Yay! 😊
